I started taking photos as a teenager when my dad gave me my first camera and taught me how to develop negatives and print black-and-white photographs. I was hooked on photography from that moment, and it has been a lifelong passion of mine. Since I have an affinity for nature, I try to capture in my photographs the beauty that I see in nature. As a teacher of 40 years, I also have photographed my students, capturing the wonder in their faces at learning. When I retired, I had a collection of 75 photo albums of my students throughout my career! I’ve also photographed my own children growing up and now my grandchild. I try to capture their beauty and my love for them.
